“The WellBeing Formula at Work” Masterclass 

 

Who Is it For?

“The WellBeing Formula @ Work” masterclass is the result of nearly 2 decades experience in training and coaching individuals and teams in stress management. It is ideal for individuals struggling with stress so they can learn powerful ways to de-stress, cope and be more resilient.

It is also an opportunity for anyone in HR or responsible for the wellbeing of staff to experience training and coaching with Steve before engaging in a longer-term contract or having the course delivered "in-house". Where:

  • AWARENESS  = An enquiry into the nature of stress and how the mind and body operate to create it.

  • RESPONSIBILITY = How to take personal responsibility for your reactions (and responses) to stressors.

  • EMPOWERMENT = How to use interventions to self manage, reduce stress and be more resilient.

 

Empowerment exercises utilise the following methodologies:

  • Coaching - Transformational “3 Principles” approaches to stress.

  • NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming 

  • CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Psycho Sensory Techniques - from the fields of Thought Field Therapy and Havening

  • Mindfulness & Meditations 

 

No previous experience of any of the methodologies used is required.

 

The Syllabus For The Day

This full-day masterclass covers two aspects of well being and stress management “the mindset of a healthy organisation” with the focus for most of the day on  ”the mindset of a healthy individual”. 

 

Masterclasses are experiential, they include live demonstrations with participants and ample opportunity to practice the stress management techniques taught.

 

FULL DAY MASTERCLASS INCLUDES:

  • The 6 key stressors and how to manage them.
  • Defining the mindset of a healthy organisation

  • Conscious and unconscious roles in stress

  • Freeze, flight, fight and flow

  • The 4 WellBeing Principles - Ancient wisdom modern applications.

A new practice for wellbeing and resilience 

  • Putting wellbeing into practice.

 

 

Dates, Venues and Timings

Timings

  • Registration begins from 9:30 am and we start promptly at 10 am. Lunch is from 1 pm till 2 pm (lunch is not included in the masterclass price) with 15-minute breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

  • All attendees will receive a masterclass workbook.

  • All attendees will be required to sign a consent form before entering the room giving permission for the event to be recorded, all events are recording for training and product development.

What to Expect After The Masterclass

Everyone is different and has different stressors and challenges to face. In 2016 and 2017 two study groups were held where attendees of the course were invited to put their wellbeing into practice for 14 days and report back with a questionnaire measuring their awareness of stress and indicating what had changed.

 

  • Total attendees = 78 people

  • Total attendees who returned their questionnaire = 62 people
